OUTDOOR WORSHIP CONTINUOUS SUSPENSION
In consideration of the extended stay-at-home order for Southern California announced on 12/29, the COVID-19 Response Team (CRT) decided this past week to suspend indefinitely the English outdoor worship services until further notice. CRT continues to evaluate the situation and seek wisdom to safely reopen for in-person worship.
SUSPENSION OF OUTDOOR WORSHIP
In light of the recent drastic surge of new COVID infections and hospitalization, the COVID-19 Response Team (CRT) decided to cancel the three outdoor worship services – Dec 19, 26 and Jan 2. CRT continues to evaluate the situation and seek wisdom to safely reopen for in-person worship.
Let us cry out for God’s mercy to carry us through the pandemic. Pray especially for all frontline healthcare workers and the vulnerable, our Everlasting Father would strengthen and protect them daily with His presence, power and promise.
REOPENING TIME CHANGED TO 3PM
In light of winter approaching and days getting shorter and colder, the CRT (Covid-19 Response Team) decided to move the outdoor worship time to start at 3 pm starting next Saturday, November 21. Also, the seating capacity is adjusted to 40 after evaluation. Other guidelines on safety protocol, reservation and parking remain the same.
During this pandemic, despite the obstacles to meet online/in-person, may our hearts be strengthened by trusting our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
REOPENING BEGINS THIS SATURDAY
We are excited to begin our reopening process by offering weekly outdoor worship. We will begin by having in-person outdoor worship in English this Saturday, November 7, from 4:00-4:45pm, at the amphitheater. Everyone who would like to worship in English is welcome to join. The Crisis Response Team continues to monitor the safety guidelines and work with the pastoral team to eventually host in-person worship services in other languages.
Reservation needed – Due to capacity limitation, we can only accept 45 people on a first-come, first- served basis. all participants need to register each week. Reservation will open from Wednesday 9:00 am through Friday 11:59 pm. When you register, you will be requested to read and accept the required safety protocols before submitting your registration.
The Covid-19 Response Team (CRT) sees a need to postpone our English outdoor worship date (10/3) after further consideration of various factors, including the progress of helpers’ readiness, Missions Conference preparation, and the possibility of LA County moving to a less-restrictive tier next month, allowing indoor worship. CRT believes that reopening after Missions Conference works best for all serving teams. It is a difficult decision indeed as we long to worship with you in person again soon. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Will keep you posted when we have a new reopening date. Covet your prayer.
After a time of praying and coordinating with the serving teams, the Covid-19 Response Team has decided to transition our reopening by launching EM outdoor worship on Saturday (10/3) at 5:00pm. More details will follow in the upcoming weeks. Please pray for our preparation and the celebration of gathered worship.

Consider your risk:
Because we want to comply with the current CDPH guideline which requires places of worship must limit attendance to 25% of building capacity or a maximum of 100 attendees, whichever is lower.
